Persistent files and volumes

Container files are disposable. Use object storage for uploads and media; use a volume when the program specifically requires a persistent filesystem path.

A volume mount applies on the next deployment. Check that the engine confirmed the mount. A local volume cannot be treated as a shared filesystem across application replicas on different machines.
